Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Amboseli & Sunset Kilimanjaro Safari
Depart Nairobi at 6:30 AM, traveling south across the Kapiti Plains and through authentic Maasai country toward Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your luxury safari lodge in time for check-in and a freshly prepared lunch. Following afternoon relaxation, set off on a sunset game drive across the dusty savannah. Search for Amboseli's world-famous elephant herds wading through seasonal swamps, while watching for lions, cheetahs, and gazelles with the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro unfolding as dusk falls.
Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Wetland Exploration & Observation Hill Vantage
Spend a full day immersed in the park with packed picnic bush lunches provided by the lodge. Journey to Observation Hill, ascending the stone steps for a 360-degree vantage point overlooking the vast dry lake bed, acacia woodlands, and lush Enkongo Narok and Ol Okenya swamps below. Observe large hippo pods, sunbathing Nile crocodiles, pelicans, and flamingo herds congregating in the fresh waters while tracking big cats on the surrounding plains before returning to camp for dinner.
Day 3: Sunrise Mountain View Safari & Scenic Return Drive to Nairobi
Wake up early for a dawn game drive when morning skies are clearest, offering pristine, unobstructed photo opportunities of Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak above the waking wildlife. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. Enjoy a final game-viewing drive as you exit the park gates, boarding your 4x4 Land Cruiser for the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon for hotel drop-off or airport connections.
